V Strom Flat Pack High Quality Stainless Steel Firepit BBQ

This is a `must have` option for anyone who wants a very high quality firepit or a BBQ which is flatpacked and will snugly fit inside a standard pannier.

It flat packs to only 18mm thick and can be easily stored within a pannier or, indeed, strapped to a rack.

To use simply carry out the following procedure:

1. Assemble as per the images.

2. Place the steel briquette mesh in position and place up to ten briquettes on the steel mesh.

3. Place the cooking slats into position and light briquettes

4. Wait approx half an hour for the briquettes to `burn off` then cook food.

It is made from high quality 2mm thick stainless as an alternative to the thin guage powder coated mild steel BBQ`s on the market which tend to badly warp and become unusable only after a few uses. It uses stainless slats for the cooking surface which are easier to clean then a steel mesh and much more durable. Two of the slats can also be used to make the whole item more rigid but are not necessary at all by fitting them to side location slots.

It also comes with a high quality carrycase which doubles as an ash tray, windbreak and table top!

It is very easy to assemble and has taken me just 15 seconds to put together. It is also very easy to clean due to it`s rugged construction and choice of material. It took me under 10 miniutes with a Brillo pad to thoroughly clean it.

It uses BBQ briquettes though you can also use charcoal wood if you wish. Most campsites in the UK do not allow ground level fires so this is a good alternative.

As always, I have not tried to take cost out of the product but rather put cost in through choice of material, rugged durability and workmanship. Each BBQ is hand finished by me to give it a high quality feel and it is something which, I think, will outlive most other portable or small BBQ`s on the market.
