Suzuki V Strom and DL Extended Oil Cooler Cover. Fits 650cc Models

This cover was made as a `special` for a client abroad but it worked so well I decided to offer it as a part for sale to it the 650cc model as well.

It fits both the Suzuki V Strom 650cc models and the DL 650cc models. I can also make them to suit the 1000cc variants as the only difference between the 1000cc and 650cc variants is that the 650cc version is a little thinner to suit the smaller oil cooler.

This type of cover is extended either side and then formed backwards to offer protection to the sides of the oil cooler itself.

The oil cooler cover locates on the 2 upper rubber sheathed fixing points and the single lower fastener point. The lower fastener is a mild steel screw and is horrible, rusts and is an absolute pig to get out so care must be taken. A replacement stainless fastener, which is much easier to remove in the future if need be, is supplied. Fitting instructions for both covers are supplied.

It normally takes me a good hour to drill out badly rusted screws and retap for a replacement fastener at my factory. If you do have problems and can get to me, I do offer a fitting service.

It is a 100% improvement over the standard cover and very much `over engineered` as an alternative to trying to make the cover as cheaply as possible.
