Suzuki V Strom 650cc & 1000cc Foot peg lowering Kit - Fits 2014 models and onward
Not recommended for off-road use
This is a lowering kit which moves the foot pegs of the V Strom down about 25mm and slightly forward by about 5mm. This results in a more relaxed and comfortable ride as the legs are in a slightly less bent position.
The kit consists of two 6mm thick laser profiled and machined plates and all the fasteners needed to make the conversion.
All fasteners are stainless steel.
The gear lever is adjustable to accommodate the change of foot peg position and the fasteners provided allow you to lower the linkage on the rear brake so that the brake lever still feels like its in the original position.
Comes with good, clear instructions.
This kit also fits the latest models with just a minor change on the countersinking.
VStrom 1000 2019, Radiator cover and peg lowering kit
Bought the radiator cover and fitting of this 1st class piece of kit was straight forward.
I also bought and fitted the foot peg lowering kit as I only have 29" legs and fitted a Suzuki low seat so I was a wee bit cramped legwise. Fitting was mostly straightforward and the only minor fiddly bit was getting the brake light switch spring extended using the stainless steel paper clip supplied.
Very pleased with quality of the products and the team at Cymarc. Special thanks to Mike who spotted the error in my order. Great work all at Cymarc.
Thanks to Mick and Aron for an exellent footpeg lowering kit for my Suzuki Dl 1000 2016 model. Very easy to mount, perfektly adapted.
Reasonably prised, and most importantly is that the foot rests are now in the right position for me. A very good buy.
After a few months and a lot of driven kilometers.
Amazing how a few centimeters can make such a big difference for comfort !
Bought kit in autumn for DL 650 V-Strom (2016, L6).
Paid with Paypal, shipping time to Germany were a few days.
The kit was complete, with all parts you need for mounting.
It takes about 15 min time, each side (incl. two bottles of beer).
Its a little tricky to adjust gear lever and rear brake (that's because I needed the beer..)
I also mount a 25mm body-lift kit to compensate less space to ground in curves (oblique Position)
