This is the previous revision of this part which we have decided not to go with (we took out some of the hole on the very bottom of the guard) it's never been fitted and so is in mint condition! grab it now at 10% off!

This product is designed to fit the new R1250GS and R1250GSA. It comes in two materials to suit each application. The guard for the GS is made from powder coated aluminium for lightness. It weighs no more than the OEM one it replaces.
The guard for the R1250 GSA is made from powder coated stainless steel for durability - it's heavier than the OEM guard it replaces but of course is much stronger.
It's possible to fit the stainless steel guard to the GS and the aluminium guard to the GSA depending on your specific requirements - they both use the same fitting points.
Both guards offer protection to the bottom of the engine and are designed to look different to the OEM guard.
Fitting is straightforward, both guards fit onto existing mounting points using all original fasteners, apart from one at the rear of the guard (supplied with a stainless steel spacer).
Both guards come with the option of a fixed or 'floating' front guard depending on your requirements.
