One of our first prints of this product and so there was a couple of kinks to iron out, this part will work fine and just as it would otherwise but has a slightly thinner top layer making it look slightly unsightly. (check last image) grab it at a discount!
We are very proud to present our very first 3D printed part following substantial investment in this new technology. Although, here at Cymarc Bike parts, we work as a tight team to jointly provide high quality parts it must be acknowledged that this product is the result of Aaron`s skills and abilities with this new tech.
Many riders, and indeed Mark personally, have often benefited from an extension of the rear brake pedal to allow for better braking without having to angle the foot too sharply forward.
What Aaron has designed and produced is a printed part that securely fits into the brake pedal and raises the pedal by approx 10mm, bringing it closer to the horizontal with the footrest. The extension itself is further secured by the use of a very sturdy stainless steel bottom plate and a stainless steel M6 countersunk fastener.
It features a rugged design in keeping with the GS philosophy and offers a good level of grip when compared to some alternatives on the market which use just a flat surface for contact with the foot.
It is available in black and red (Mark`s favourite colour).
It can be fitted in minutes and offers a well priced solution to eliminating that `gap`.
"I`ve road tested Aaron`s new product on my R1250GS. For me it`s excellent and gives me much more `feel` especially when feathering the brake going into corners" (Mark Hooton, June 2019).
