The standard horn on most of the BMW range is pretty grim to be honest, only there to meet a minimum legal requirement. If you wanted to fit an aftermarket horn, like a Nautilus or such like, then there is no obvious place you can fit it.
This bracketry allows such a horn to be very securely mounted to the main frame of the bike. It fits just below the tank and provides an excellent mounting position for a range of similar horns. It`s made from Stainless Steel and has a strengthening gusset Tig welded into place. The brackets also come with a power & earth lead as shown in the photo.
You`ll also need a horn (obviously) and one of those canbus socket adaptors (available from Nippy Norman) to take the power from the canbus horn connector to the horn relay.
