These were made for a client wanting some protection for the fuel tanks located either side of the R1200GSA. Made from 1.2mm thick high quality stainless & hand finished.
They are held in place using high quality rubber nitrile lined stainless steel P Clamps - not the easiest to fit but once they are on they will not be easily stolen! They come with suggested fitting instructions based on personal experience!
They would afford some protection, I think, to any fall resulting in a potential puncture of the fuel tank cell. Possibly far cheaper than a new tank!
