This is a very tough stand bash plate which fits onto the stand via 3 rubber lined `P` clamps to eliminate any `chatter`. It also comes with some rubber adhesive strips, if required, to further restrict any possibility of `chatter` against the stand itself.
It is made from 2mm thick stainless steel and has 3 holes on the plate to reduce water and debris from building up behind it. It also has a short extension to offer some protection to the two springs on the stand itself.
It can be a little fiddly to fit but once located it is very solid and will withstand some significant knocks.
Everything is stainless steel apart from the rubber lining on the `P` clamps.
It is shown fitted to my very own 2010 R1200GSA.
